What players asked for, and what the developer said
Every row is a Steam discussion thread with a reply from the Antimuon Studios account. Quotes are the developer's own words.
| Request | Developer reply |
|---|---|
| Show which country each Caribbean port belongs to; let players draw custom regions | "Absolutely, we'll add this in the full release" (June 2026) |
| Show how much revenue a cargo or route will pay before you load it | "We have some great features to help with this in the release next month" (September 2026) |
| UI and font scaling; flag menu overflowing at high scale | "These issues are addressed fully in the release" |
| Demo stutter on high-end GPUs | Demo-only; release "introduces several graphical options and strong optimizations" |
| Bigger map than the demo's three regions | The release has all 295 ports, including Europe (Mediterranean and North Sea) |
Still open with no developer answer yet: whether ocean currents change with the seasons, and hull fouling (ships slowing down between hull cleanings). We will add replies as they come in.
Language and update questions
Is Bering Tonnage in Korean?
Not at launch. Korean was the most requested language on the Steam forum (two separate threads), and the developer replied that Korean is planned later in 2026 along with several other languages, expected by December 2026.
Will Bering Tonnage get French or Spanish?
Yes, the developer lists French, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese alongside Korean, expected by December 2026.
Is the full game different from the demo?
Yes. The developer calls it "a much newer build with several new features" and pulled the demo before launch for that reason. Promised changes from forum replies include UI scaling fixes, graphics options and better revenue information when picking cargo.
