The key bindings live in Settings → Controls, which also has key movement sensitivity for the map. Settings also hold the notification cooldown and distance units (kilometres by default, switchable).

Is there a pause?

Not in the demo: no pause button and no time bar, which reviewers flagged as their main complaint. Time only goes faster (hold Shift), never stops. One reviewer accepted it as deliberate if rival companies are the source of pressure. If the release adds a pause, we will update this page.

Practical consequence: learn menus while ships are at sea on long legs, not during a port-closure crisis.

Fixing tiny or overlapping UI

  • Settings → Display → Interface → UI scale. The demo default was 150.
  • At 2560×1440, anything above 100 overlapped panels and hid close buttons. 100 fixed it.
  • Panels can be dragged but did not remember their position when reopened in the demo. Fleet list column choices are remembered.
  • The developer says the release fixes the scaling and flag-menu overflow reported on the forum. More in PC requirements.

Crash to avoid

A Steam forum thread from the demo period is titled “Game Crash with RShift + P”. Until a patch note says it is fixed, avoid pressing Right Shift and P together; use the left Shift to speed up time.

Saving

Save manually from the game menu. A manual save can overwrite an existing slot.

Useful panels

  • Objectives: rewards must be redeemed by hand.
  • Log / Notifications: Ship arrived, Rerouted, Order complete, Ship offer arrived, Severe storm formed, Route blocked.
  • Operations (click the company logo): profit and loss per hour.
  • Licenses, Depots and Strategy: buttons bottom-left beside the minimap.
